Terms & Conditions

These terms shall apply to any internship entered into by you which is arranged for you by Vocation Relocation Limited trading as Career Training Internships (CTI). These terms are deemed to be accepted by you upon instructing CTI to arrange an internship on your behalf either by instruction received on your own behalf or by instruction from a third party on your behalf (whether verbally, in writing or otherwise).

1. Code of conduct
1.1. During your internship, you are obliged to comply with our code of conduct. Any breach of the code of conduct may result in a termination of your internship or accommodation arrangements.
1.2. During your internship, you are obliged to comply with the instructions of your host company who will provide instruction to you in the carrying out of your duties, health and safety matters and any other matters relevant to same.

2. Host Company
2.1. You are obliged to comply with all reasonable instructions of the host company and to uphold the highest standards of behaviour while completing your Internship. No anti-social behaviour whatsoever will be tolerated. You are not permitted to take part in a virtual internship with a host company under the influence of any intoxicant whatsoever including alcohol or drugs and CTI and the host company reserves the right to immediately terminate your internship in the event that this occurs.
2.2. The host company may terminate your internship at their discretion in the event that you fail to comply with their reasonable rules and regulations, health and safety or for any other reason. The host company will give notice to CTI of this termination and CTI will use reasonable endeavours to arrange an alternative internship for you. Please note however that CTI has no obligation to arrange an alternative internship if the host company terminates same.
2.3. You may terminate your internship in certain circumstances upon serious and reasonable grounds, and in circumstances where it is untenable for you to continue the internship. If you wish to terminate your internship, you must contact CTI prior to doing so. For the avoidance of doubt, CTI is not obliged to arrange an alternative internship for you in the event that this occurs.

3. Liability
3.1. CTI shall have no liability to you arising out of or in connection with the provision of the internship arrangement services to you (whether by breach of contract, statutory duty, negligence or otherwise) save to the extent that such liability cannot be limited under any applicable law. CTI shall have no liability for any acts or omissions of the Host Company.

4. Data Protection
4.1. In the context of the provision of internship services to you, CTI will process personal data on your behalf to enable us to perform the Contract between us, and for compliance with our legal, contractual and statutory obligations. Please refer to our privacy policy for details of processing.

5. Severability
Each of these terms and provisions are separate and severable and enforceable accordingly and if at any time any provision is adjudged by any court or regulatory authority or agency of competent jurisdiction to be void or unenforceable in whole or in part the legality and enforceability of the remaining terms and provisions hereof shall not in any way be affected or impaired thereby.

6. Consideration
Each party confirms that it intends to be bound by the provisions of these terms and that the performance of the obligations on the part of the CTI and the Intern in the offering and accepting of internships shall comprise sufficient consideration to bind the parties.

7. No Partnerships
Each party acknowledges that no partnership or joint venture is intended to be created nor shall it be created pursuant to the terms of this agreement.

8. Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Irish law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
