At Virtual CTI, once you’ve filled out your application form stating your internship package, length of internship and preferred field of work, we will match you to the most suitable host company based on your skillset and level of English. We will support you the whole way through your internship and help you with any documentation required. At the end of each week, we will ask you to fill out a Weekly Feedback Form in order to keep track of your progression in order to ensure we are providing the best experience possible!
A virtual internship is definitely worth it if you are someone who is looking for a way to develop your skills, English language fluency or gain real-life experience in the workplace. Being able to add a virtual internship to your CV is a great way to show future employers that you are adaptable, trustworthy and can work on your own initiative. It’s also an opportunity to meet new people, work with companies anywhere in the world without the pressure or cost of moving away/commuting.
You can apply for a virtual internship through our website https://www.virtualcti.com/start-your-application but be sure to look at the sectors we provide internships in here https://www.virtualcti.com/internships, and the plans and packages we provide for internships which you can see here https://www.virtualcti.com/plans If you don’t see your preferred sector of work or have any other questions before creating an application, don’t hesitate to contact us here https://www.virtualcti.com/contact and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Depending on the sector you wish to work in, you may not need many if any qualifications at all, however, most of our internships require you to have a B1 level of English and a passion for the sector you’d like to work in. Previous experience would be preferable and would benefit you, however, it’s not a requirement. Take a look at our sectors page which provides you with the tasks involved in the role and the potential minimum requirements you’ll need here https://www.virtualcti.com/internships
Of course! Some of our packages include a CV workshop session in which you’ll be shown how to add to and upgrade your CV to the highest standard, including the skills you develop and experience you’ll gain with your host company. You’ll also receive a certificate upon completion of your internship and a reference from your host company. If upgrading your CV is something you’re interested in, take a look at our internship packages to see which ones include a CV workshop https://www.virtualcti.com/plans
We have many packages that have the option to include English lessons along with your internship. If you choose to include English lessons in your plan, we will first assess your level of English – must be at least a B1 level. From there will place you in a class with other interns at the same level, or 1 to 1 lessons, depending on the package you have selected in the application process. Typically, you will work between 25-35 hours per week with your host company and have a further 5 hours of English lessons per week.
